Bren’s Editorial:
Andy Webster is my brother in law. So I feel almost honour-bound to promote his gigs. But beside that: he is a wonderful musician. I mean, some of my friends say that about me, but there’s no comparison. Andy’s musicianship is absolutely world-class.

An inspiring singer, songwriter and string player from Scotland, Andy Webster has been described as one of his generations leading instrumentalists. He is also a lead member of the multi-award winning, 7 piece Scottish supergroup, Brolum. Webster’s powerful and varied guitar and bouzouki playing has backed many leading acts including Dougie MacLean, Calasaig, award-winning harpist Phamie Gow, and the Finlay McDonald Band. For years, Webster’s music has led him to stages in France, Italy, Belgium, Estonia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Turkey, Russia, England, Wales, the USA and Canada. His compositions have been selected for compilation albums across Europe and have seen much radio play worldwide.
